Fractal Staircase

Imagine a wide spiral staircase that allows you to travel between floors. Each step that you take gets you one step closer to your destination. At the same time you are rotating clockwise (upwards) or anti-clockwise (downwards). This also demonstrates the importance of rotation - that you can rotate clockwise and move up or rotate anti-clockwise and move down.

Being aware of the steps and what is required at each step allows you to know what it takes to get between the floors. It's not a jump or a drop, it's a known sequence that facilitates movement. Without it, we might be stuck on a floor with no way of moving between them.

We may also have never gone to the floor above or below - so having a practical series of steps allows us to explore up or down into new levels of experience in a structured , measured and more confident way.
